Project GRAD Akron has awarded more than One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,200,000) in scholarships to Buchtel High School Graduates.

 

  

 
Forty-one (41) students from Buchtel High School’s Class of 2006 were
each awarded a Project GRAD Akron $4,000.00 scholarship, for a total of $164,000.00. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Thirty-four (34) students from Buchtel High School’s Class of 2007
were each awarded a Project GRAD Akron $4,000.00 scholarship, for a total of $136,000.00. 
 
 
 
 
 
  
 
Thirty-two (32) students from Buchtel High School’s Class of 2008
were each awarded a Project GRAD Akron (PGA) $4,000.00
scholarship, for a total of $128,000.00. Selected students were
also awarded the PGA Leon Harris Book Scholarships, the
Dr. Flora N. Randall Dees Leadership Award, and the PGA
Dr. Sylvester Small Academic Scholarship.

each awarded a Project GRAD Akron $4,000.00 scholarship, for a total
of $164,000.00. Selected students were awarded the PGA Leon Harris
Book Scholarships, the Dr. Flora N. Randall Dees Leadership Award, the PGA Dr. Sylvester Small Academic Scholarship, and the Ann Lane Gates Scholarship from the Akron Community Foundation.
 
 
 
 
 
Fifty-six (56) students from Buchtel High School’s Class of 2010 were
each awarded a Project GRAD Akron $4,000.00 scholarship, for a total of $224,000.00. Additionally, selected students were awarded the PGA Leon Harris Book Scholarships, the Dr. Flora N. Randall Dees Leadership Award, the PGA Dr. Sylvester Small Academic Scholarship, and the Ann Lane Gates Scholarship from the Akron Community Foundation.
 
 
 
 
 
Fifty-six (56) students from Buchtel High School’s Class of 2011 were each awarded a Project GRAD Akron $4,000.00 scholarship, for a total of $224,000.00. Additionally, selected students were awarded the PGA Leon Harris Book Scholarships, the Dr. Flora N. Randall Dees Leadership Award, the PGA Dr. Sylvester Small Academic Scholarship, the Ann Lane Gates Scholarship from the Akron Community Foundation, the Harold K. Stubbs Scholarship from Saint Paul A.M.E. Church, and the inaugural Atha & Muriel Walker Scholarship. The
                                         following reflect the students and their 2011-2012 colleges or
